The Process: Created using AWS Amplify, AWS Lambda written in Python, S3 for data storage, AWS Gateway for APIs, and Github for a collaborative frontend code repository.
HomeThe idea: Create a fullstack website able to predict how much candy someone can get from trick-or-treating based on real data
The Result: We won first place in the hackathon! I found the whole process very fun. Starting the project and following it through from start to finish, I formed a team of two other friends and my idea came to life. I learned the fullstack web development process and how to use Amazon Web Services to host my website. Websites are much more complicated than I thought and I have a newfound appreciation for the development behind intricate websites I find online now.
